Ash Ingalls
Ash Ingalls is an improviser, recording artist, and independent researcher based in Joshua Tree, CA. In addition to founding & facilitating Searching Records, Ash is involved in multiple projects as a producer and multi-instrumentalist, with an intuitive focus on string instruments (cello, bass, guitar, ruan, banjo, etc) processed through electronic effects. They perform ritualistic drone-folk with Ritual Ashing, loop-based explorations with Entwined, and chaotic free rock with Aeon Jung. Ash is also an avid collector of physical media, virtually documenting their music library at nofoodjustwax.com and through their monthly radio show Sonic Gnostic Research.
